Long time no blog. A couple of days recently I've sat down with a half-assed intention of blogging, written a couple of sentences and then stopped. Call it laziness, fatigue, boredom, whatever...
The quick-recap-of-the-past-couple-weeks post will not come now.

Today was pretty awesome. Woke up, saw that Greece had won, had breakfast, lazified a bit, then went down to The Parlour (86th and B-way) to watch Spain vs. Russia, Euro 2004 Group A. Really good game, a couple of really exciting missed chances on both parts. Adrian said Russia deserved a draw, which I sort of agree with, but Spain did start to dominate a lot more once they scored their (nice) goal. At first the shot seemed a crapshoot, shooting into a bunch of defenders from 15 feet in front of the goal, but on the replay of the camera behind the net the brilliance emerged. He threaded it perfectly around and between closing defenders, at just the right moment. Of course if he hadn't, it wouldn't have been a goal, so that point is kind of moot. *ramble ramble*.
